This is the Excel file for the data extracted for the scoping review titled: "Etiological Factors of Obsessive-Compulsive (Anankastic) Personality: A Scoping Review".

This scoping review was undertaken to systematically identify and synthesise the documented factors that confer a risk or protective effect in the etiology of OCPD traits. Six databases (PsychINFO, Scopus, Embase, CINAHL, MEDLINE, and ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global) were searched on August 10, 2023 from which 3467 studies were identified and 86 were included in the review after application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This data revealed that personality traits, affective factors, cognitive factors, relational factors, biological factors, pre-existing conditions, and neuropsychological factors had a risk or protective effect in the etiology of OCPD traits.

The data extracted is in an Excel file. The data extracted includes each publication's citation, study design, title, country, if it was a thesis/dissertation, language, sample size and type, the personality assessment measure used, the etiological factor/s studied, the key results related to the etiological factors, and the factor's category.

FAIR Self Assessment Summary

Findable Does the dataset have any identifiers assigned? Global Is the dataset identifier included in all metadata records/files describing the data? Yes How is the data described with metadata? Comprehensively (see suggestion) using a recognised formal machine-readable metadata schema What type of repository or registry is the metadata record in? Data is in one place but discoverable through several registries Accessible How accessible is the data? Publicly accessible Is the data available online without requiring specialised protocols or tools once access has been approved? By individual arrangement Will the metadata record be available even if the data is no longer available? Yes Interoperable What (file) format(s) is the data available in? Mostly in a proprietary format What best describes the types of vocabularies/ontologies/tagging schemas used to define the data elements? Standardised vocabularies/ontologies/schema without global identifiers How is the metadata linked to other data and metadata (to enhance context and clearly indicate relationships)? The metadata record includes URI links to related metadata, data and definitions Reusable Which of the following best describes the license/usage rights attached to the data? Non-standard machine-readable license (clearly indicating under what conditions the data may be reused) How much provenance information has been captured to facilitate data reuse? Fully recorded in a text format
