The article discusses the stela of the Meroitic King Anlamani (c. 623-593 BC) that was discovered in the pyramid chapel of Pyramid 6 at the Nubian site of Nuri, in modern Sudan. The stela is held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The primary interest in the text of the stela lies in its being a late and garbled copy of Pyramid Texts originally from the 5th and 6th Dynasties of Egypt.
