The bronze figurine MU 4200 at the Museum of Ancient Cultures at Macquarie University features an oxyrhynchus fish. Associated with the goddess Taweret, this fish was venerated in the Graeco-roman period. Stylistic features are assessed and types developed (sled-style base, additional rectangular base, double plinth) based on a comparative corpus of 34 examples from the literature.
