A work in progress: methods of communicating a sense of process in workshop scenes of the Old Kingdom

Scenes of boat building, carpentry, jewellery making, leatherwork, metalwork, sculpture, stone vessel making, and pottery production are analysed where the presence of unfinished objects convey the production method and the sense of work in progress.
