Description of the decoration and some of the inscriptions (one of them addressing the passer-by) in the seven-roomed mastaba of Ankhmahor-Sesi, one of five viziers from the reign of Teti, all buried in the cemetery to the north of his pyramid. It contains one of the liveliest and most elaborate butchery scenes known from the OK. Attention is paid to the famous circumcision scene. Apart from a scene with dancing girls, the empty chair in the offering scene in the burial chamber is worth noting. (OEB)
