A preliminary report on work in the tomb (TT 148) of Amenemope, son of Tjanefer, Third Prophet of Amun in the reigns of Ramses III to Ramses V. The work concerned conservation, excavation of the burial passage (which yielded only fragments of funerary equipment, mostly shabtis) and the recording of the decoration. The presence of sandstone blocks points to reuse by Amenemope of material from temple structures, perhaps already dismantled. (OEB)
