Report on Ismant el-Kharab (ancient Kellis) the excavations at the extreme east of the site (mounds C/1 and C/2) that point to a significant Early Roman Period settlement with painted villas including a Temple of Tutu and that of Tashay and Neith. At Mut el-Kharab (ancient Mothis) excavations focussed on the Temple of Seth and the northwestern and southeastern corners of the temenos.
