The analysis presented and documented here is based on 123 scenes in 47 New Kingdom tombs (33 in Thebes and 12 in Saqqara). The focus is on describing the various garments of offering bearers, both male and female, and creating a typology for kilts (wrap-around, sash, over kilts), bag tunics and their combination, as well as for the dresses worn by women. Observations on dating criteria are made for the 18th Dynasty before the Amarna period.
