The 'King's Son of Kush' Paser (II), son of the 'High Priest of Min and Isis' Minmose

The Viceroy of Kush Paser (II), who held the office towards the end of the reign of Ramses II, was the son of one Minmose. His family relations can be refined through the sculptural group preserved in the museum of Naples (inv.no. 1069), which mentions a large number of the owner's relatives, with information about their name, titles and family relations. Having focused on Pennesuttawy, Minmose and Wenennefer, as well as on the Chief Bowman of Kush Khaemwaset, the author arrives at the family of Yuya and Tuya, which was not only related to royalty through Tiye, but also held the pontificate in the cult centre of Min and Isis at Akhmim. One in the succession of high priests was Minmose, the father of the Paser under study. This Paser (II) also had a connection with the temple of 4Htp-nTrw at Faras, which temple may have been under the hereditary custody of this same family.
