<p dir="ltr">The Nicholson Museum at the University of Sydney holds a mummified human head (NM R32) that was obtained by Sir Charles Nicholson during his visit to Egypt 1856-1857. Two tissue samples were taken and carbon was extracted from the samples, converted to graphite and analysed by Accelerator Mass Spectrometer (AMS) at ANSTO (Australia's Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation).</p>
