Brief report on the excavations at Ismant el-Kharab (ancient Kellis) in the Dakhla Oasis. The excavations were conducted in four parts of the site, one of which is the temple area. The mammisi of the Main Temple yielded iconographic material in the pharaonic style. The gateway of the small temple of Neith and Tapshay west of the Main Temple turned out to be undecorated, and could thus not give a clue as to when the temple was built. Most of the material found during the present excavations is non-pharaonic. (OEB)
