The author presents two ancient tombs at Gohaina, a site on the West Bank of the Nile, c. 26 km north-west of Sohag, where the Old Kingdom tombs are hewn into the escarpment, c. 10 km from the agricultural land. Architectural plans and line-drawings of relevant scenes of the Tomb of Khewi / Tjetji-iqer and of Resity are included. Among the scenes in the tomb of Khewi are are fishing and fowling and agricultural scenes.
