The term 'God's Land' (also: "'Two Lands of God' or 'Lands of Gods') occurs relatively frequently in different types of texts: funerary texts, expedition text, dedication texts, in divine utterances, presentations texts in tomb scenes, in hymns and in titles. The article discusses previous research on establishing the geographical location of 'God's Land' and adds new insights by focussing on the association with the sunrise.
